Working from her studio in the green and pleasant county of Cheshire, England,
Anita celebrates the beauty of the natural world through her painting and photography.
In her painting, specialising in wildlife, Anita’s art is representational, and her aim is to depict the visual reality - and the spirit - of her subject in as fine a detail as her chosen medium will allow.
In her photography she seeks to display the simple pleasures of the landscape, fauna and flora that delight her eye, seemingly around every corner, and especially across the length and breadth of our great British Isles.
Her wish is that the viewers of her creations might take away a greater appreciation for the beauty of the natural world in which we live – and that this, in some small way, may contribute to a better understanding and respect for our shared Earth, and our connection to all living things.
Specialising in wildlife, and through the medium of pastel, Anita focuses primarily upon mammals and birds, depicting the spirit and visual reality of her subjects in fine detail. Wolves take pride of place as her favourite subject.
