AY_Woodpecker_2018Anita will be presenting two new one dayDrawing from Nature with Pastel Pencil’ workshops in the Summer of 2015, drawing flora and fauna in the wonderful setting of the Woodland Skills Centre, Denbighshire, North Wales.

These drawing workshops offer an opportunity for both novice and experienced drawers to become acquainted with the medium of Pastel Pencil – a very versatile medium especially suited to the rendering of fine detail, and a perfect vehicle through which to celebrate the beauty of the natural world.  Anita says :

On both days, woodland nature will be our inspiration and guide in the creative process – from the emergence of new growth in the Spring, to the abundance of midsummer wildlife in early July”.

There is a maximum group size of 6 so early booking is recommended.

 ‘Drawing from Nature with Pastel Pencil – Woodland Flora’

1 DAY WORKSHOP – 4th July 2015

Cost £60

 

Spring daffodils at the Woodland Skills Centre

On this one day course you will learn the essential techniques for using the medium of pastel pencil to represent the detail of woodland flowers and trees using reference material from the surrounding woodland.

At the end of the course you will take away your own small composition showing a lovely woodland scene – and hopefully some wonderful memories of spending time close to nature in the heart of the North Wales countryside.

 

Suitable for novice or experienced drawers who wish to learn how to use pastel pencils effectively.

Pack of all basic material requirements included.

Maximum group size of 6.
